Five Votes, Five Ideas, Five Minutes, Five Judges, Five Thousand Dollars

That’s a lot of 5, but we simply call it 5×5

There is no restriction on the type of idea that a creator can submit, but it is important to remember that it is all about advancing an idea. The community votes on the ideas to be presented at the event. The selected creators explain a $5,000 step that will advance the idea, and they will meet people who can help.

It is not enough to have an idea. You are the one that is pushing it into existence, so be clear about what it takes for the next $ 5,000 step.
Presenting ideas is only part of the night. The second part is at the reception to find out the winner. Have a beer, discuss ideas. That part of the night is the reason we organize the event. Please join us.

When & Where

5×5 Night takes place once a month. Doors open at 5:00PM. Presentations start at 5:30PM. All votes and applications are due one week prior to the event. Start Garden is located at 40 Pearl St NW #200, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
